The Civil Protection Emergency Level has been declared due to the coronavirus pandemic. There is a lot of staff at the hospital. At the request of the Icelandic Health Insurance, Skurðstofan ehf will close from January 18th for 2-3 weeks and employees will go to work at Landspítali University Hospital to ease operations there.
